Baked Cinnamon Apple Chips Recipe

So addicting. And all you are eating is pure apples!

Prep: 5min

Total: 3h30min

Yield: 3

Ingredients:

  • 3 apples (I prefer Honey Crisp, Pink Lady, or Granny Smith)
  • ground cinnamon
  • granulated sugar

Instruction:

  1. Preheat oven to 200°F (93°C). Line two large baking sheets with silicone baking mats. Set aside.
  2. As shown in the photos above, wash and thinly slice the apples. Spread the apple slices in a single layer across the baking sheets. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
  3. Bake the apples for 1 hour, then turn them over and bake for an additional 1–1 5 hours. Keep the apples inside the oven as it cools for an hour after turning it off. This will help them get crunchy. After three hours in the oven, some apples may only be slightly crunchy and chewy. Apple chips can be kept for up to a week at room temperature in an airtight container.
