Step 1: Grill your hot dogs at home making sure they are completely cooked.
Step 2: Place the hot dogs in buns, but don’t add condiments yet or the buns will get soggy.
Step 3: Now that your cooking is done, here is the trick to keep things warm. After you place them in the bun, wrap each one individually in foil and place in a cooler or insulated bag to keep them warm. Close cooler and keep closed until serving. To add extra length to the amount of time that your hot dogs will stay warm, add a travel hot pack and use an insulated cooler bag keep heat longer.
You can then serve out of the cooler whenever you’re ready to eat. If you’re taking them on the go, don’t forget to bring your favorite condiments like ketchup and mustard.
