Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and do I have a cool craft for you. Honestly do you scratch your head trying to think of the perfect guy gift? Stores advertise, hearts, flowers and chocolates for the gal you love but what about him? I happen to think “He” matters a lot. So how about a DIY Alcohol Bouquet.
[clickToTweet tweet=”An Alcohol Bouquet that you can personalize. Your guy’s taste affect the selection of liquor you use. The tissue paper can be in his ‘Team Colours’. Even the base can be something that maters to the two of you. #diyalcoholbouquet” quote=”The Perfect guy gift that only you can create” theme=”style3″]
1. Glue a kabob skewer to the back of a mini liquor bottle. 2. Push the skewer through the bottom of a cupcake liner and glue the bottom of the bottle to the liner. The linear gives it more of a “flower” look. 3. Place a small dab of glue in the hole where the kabob is inserted to keep in place. 4. Repeat steps 1-3 until all your bottles are complete. 5. Fill your vase with either styrofoam, confetti, marbles, or something that will hold the kabobs in place. 6. Trim the lengths of the stems into random sizes to give your bouquet more dimension. The point is to make it look like a floral arrangement. 7. Place your new bottle flowers in the vase filler. Make sure the weight is distributed evenly and be really careful when removing one. 8. Tie a pretty ribbon around the vase. 9. Bring to the party!
This is the cutest thing and so fun to bring to the birthday girl or boy! Obviously, with a man I would use less glitter and maybe add some meat sticks or snacks. Either way, the base bouquet is the same.
I’m so thankful that she thinks I am cool enough to get invited to her party. I was so excited to go and celebrate her! I, of course, brought sisterly gifts. But I also wanted to give her something that every 21 year old needs–a bouquet of mini liquor bottles!
My baby sister turned 21 this weekend! Like what?? Teeny nugget can drink legally! Once upon a time, I wrote one of my favorite posts ever to my baby sister on her birthday. Check it out here.

How do you hang a bottle with a leaf piercing?
For loose leaf stems, pierce a silk leaf with a piece of floral wire, close to the stem end. Bend both ends of the wire down and away from the leaf, then wrap with floral wire. Starting with your heaviest bottles in the middle, stick your stems into the foam. Make sure to jam them in far enough to be stable.
How do you put a bottle in a sheet?
Place a bottle in the middle of a sheet, with the nicer side of the sheet facing down. Fold about half of the sheet over the bottle, so that it’s fairy snug across the bottom of the bottle (top of the “rose”) Wrap one side around the front of the bottle.
