How to Feed Haricot Vert Recipe to the Whole Family
I get it, feeding kids can be tough! But following the Division of Responsibility and knowing your job and your child’s job makes it SO much more enjoyable. You’ll be able to feed your kids any meal, which will help ensure that they are eating a variety of nutritious foods – with plenty of play food sprinkled in.
I would recommend serving just one or even a small piece of the skinny green bean to youngest eaters or if it’s a food they are still learning-to-like. Don’t pressure them to eat or try, just model yourself enjoying them – which won’t be hard to do, because they are delicious!

Other Methods of Cooking Haricots Verts
While I love this simple sautéing method, you can also boil them. Simply cook the beans in boiling water, removing with a slotted spoon, and plunged into a large bowl of ice water (an ice bath) to stop the cooking.
Another option is to lightly steam them with a steamer basket set above a few inches of water.
Store the leftover sautéed haricots verts in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
Reheat in the microwave or a hot skillet until heated through.
