what are low temperature candles

All candles are made of 100% pure paraffin. The melting temperature of these UV reactive candles is about 124-126°F. Increasing or decreasing the distance from the body will affect pouring temp slightly.

Please note: all candle orders have a processing time of 3-8 business before shipping due to the hand crafted nature (sometimes longer on big orders). Full rainbow sets can take 2-4 weeks to make. Please check shipping policies on all items for shipping time estimates.

Colored wax does have dye in it and may stain lighter colored surfaces. We generally recommend a hard or easily cleaned surface, or putting down a dark cloth you dont care about.

We strongly recommend not using the candles while the wick is actively burning. The best practice is to let a pool of wax melt and then blow out the candle before pouring. This prevents soot from getting on the jar and as the candle gets lower, from excessive heat shattering the jar.

In hot weather and very cold weather the candles commonly develop some air bubbles and other visual defects during shipment. The wax will still pour perfectly and beautifully in the color intended. Share Link

Other candles made for erotic play are made from spa grade paraffin and melt between 80 to 91°F (well below the threshold of 125°F). These options may be sold as erotic low temperature candles, sadistic low temperature candles, and black light low temperature candles.

SOY CANDLE POURING AND MIXING TEMPERATURES

FAQ

What are low temperature candles made of?

Soy wax has a lower melting point. Because of its large, defined crystal structure, paraffin wax has a higher melting point, between 120-160°F (49-71°C). Soy wax has a lower melting point than that, making it easier to burn in cooler environments or during colder seasons like winter.

What candles burn at the lowest temperature?

Other Benefits of Soy Candles Because soy wax burns at a lower temperature, your soy wax candle will last up to 50% longer than a paraffin candle, giving you more bang for your candle buck!

How do you use low temperature candles?

The further away from the skin, the lower the heat. Drip the wax from a high level, rather than at a low level with a few dribbles. Romantic: Couples can use them to decorate the house, bring magical experiences, and pull out compassion and sweet thoughts of you from another.

Do soy candles burn at a lower temperature?

Soy wax has a lower burn temperature than paraffin and will last 30 – 50% longer than paraffin candles. The soy candle might seem like the more expensive option but when you compare the longevity of the candles, soy doesn’t really cost you much more money at all.

Generally, the softer the wax, the lower the melting point. The lower the melting point, the less chance you have of ending up with a nasty burn in a potentially sensitive area. When considering household candles, votive candles melt around 135° Fahrenheit (F), taper candles at 140°F or higher, and beeswax at 145°F or higher.

Are massage candles safe?

These candles are recommended as they’re designed with pleasure and safety in mind. For example, massage candles are made from soy wax and burn at lower temperatures than typical household candles, moving sensual play away from the risk of burns.

Are wax candles safe?

Beeswax Candles: Beeswax candles are another safe option for wax play. They have a higher melting point than soy candles, but they still produce a warm and sensual feeling when melted. Beeswax is a natural wax that is non-toxic, hypoallergenic, and emits a subtle honey-like aroma. It burns cleanly and is considered an eco-friendly choice.
