The company was founded in 1911 by an immigrant to Brazil from northern Italy, Valentin Tramontina. Clovis Tramontina is the current president. Tramontina commenced its expansion to the USA in 1986. Tramontina sells many products, including cookware, bakeware, outdoor collections, kitchen accessories, and flatware in over 120 countries.

Since 2005, Tramontina USA has been manufacturing this aluminum Tramontina cookware. They produce cookware at the Manitowoc factory. This product comes with a Lifetime Warranty. However, Tramontina USA announced that they are closing their cookware operations in Manitowoc, US, eliminating 145 local jobs.
Where did Tramontina come from?
Initially, Tramontina started as a small blacksmith’s shop in Carlos Barbosa, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, producing agricultural tools and equipment for local farmers. However, the company soon expanded its product line to include kitchen utensils, appliances, and cookware.
