Other Easy Air Fryer Recipes:
- Ham – I used Black Forrest ham. Deli ham works great too.
- Swiss Cheese – You can use whatever cheese you want like American cheese, cheddar, provolone, or pepper-jack cheese.
- Flour Tortillas
- Butter
- Dijon mustard
1. Warm the tortillas: Start by placing the tortillas on a microwave safe plate, then place a damp paper towel over them. Microwave the tortillas for 20-30 seconds until warm. This will make the tortillas easier to fold without them cracking.
2. Preheat the air fryer to 380 degrees Fahrenheit and set the timer for 5 minutes.
3. Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise and Dijon mustard onto the tortillas.
4. Add 2 slices of ham, then a slice of Swiss cheese to each tortilla.
5. Roll each tortilla up like a burrito by folding the sides in and tightly rolling them.
6. Brush the top of each wrap with melted butter using a basting brush.
7. Place the wraps into the air fryer seam down and cook for 5 minutes until golden brown. Check on them halfway through.
8. Remove wraps from air fryer. Let them cool. Then cut them in half or diagonally and enjoy!

How long do you bake cheese wraps?
Just place shredded cheese or slices of cheese on a baking sheet with a sheet of parchment paper and bake at 350 degrees F for 8 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes, then enjoy! What kinds of cheese work best for cheese wraps? We’ve found that mozzarella, cheddar, and Colby jack all make for great wraps.
Can you put cheese wraps in the oven?
You have two options. You can add your sauce and shredded cheese to the cheese wrap right away. If not, you can put the cheese wrap in the oven, allowing it to become slightly crisp before you pull it out, add your toppings to it, and then put it back in the oven for an additional two or three minutes, melting the shredded cheese over the wrap.
How do you make a cheese wrap?
For each wrap, cut a 15×11-inch piece of parchment paper. Cut in half crosswise. On one piece of parchment lay one slice of cheese. Tear another cheese slice into four equal pieces and arrange around cheese on paper without overlapping. Sprinkle with pepper and herb or spice, if desired.
How do you know if a cheese wrap is cooked?
Your cheese wrap should be bubbling and slightly crispy when it’s done. If it turns brown around the edges it’s a little overdone. If it’s not bubbly in the middle then it needs a little more time. Step three: Remove from microwave and let cool for 5 minutes. Dab any excess grease with a paper towel, then peel the wrap off of the plate and enjoy!
