Just got a Ninja Dual Airfryer and I have always cooked frozen chicken in the oven but is it safe to do that with an Airfryer or do I need to defrost first.
I just googled because I’m slightly appalled at the idea. It comes up repeatedly saying you can cook chicken breast from frozen in the air fryer-no mention of a whole bird though. I suppose I always defrost our chicken breasts in the microwave first because I’m generally chopping them, & that would be hard to do when frozen solid!
Id look into this a bit more tbh – defrosting as a process generally wakes up the bacteria which is why many products are cook from frozen as that is the safest way to cook it.
