Can I put a toaster oven on a wooden countertop?
Mine have been on counters for years, never a scorch mark on wood or laminate tops. If you mean safe from getting knocked into or getting burned from, that depends on you. Be careful, the outside of a toaster oven does get quite hot. And keep the little ones away just like you would with the big oven.

It is strongly recommended that you use trivets or cutting boards underneath countertop appliances such as crock pots, toaster ovens or electric frying pans and do not place hot or cold pots and pans directly on your countertop surface.
