  • 1 baguette , cut into slices
  • 1/2 cup (120 g) pate (optional)
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) mayo (optional)
  • 1 small cucumber , sliced thin

  • 1 cup (240 ml) Vietnamese pickled carrots and daikon
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) fresh cilantro leaves
  • Chopped fresh chiles or hot sauce
  • Soy sauce (optional)
  • Slice baguette into 1/4 inch thick slices. If using pate and mayo, add a light layer of each onto the baguette slices.
