If youve been relying on cranberry juice and Red Bull to make a cocktail out of liquor and your empty fridge, we should talk about ginger ale. This bubbly, sorta spicy, mostly delicious soda is low-key famous for settling stomachs everywhere, but its also a perfect match for alcohol.

Add 1/2 oz gin, 1/2 oz syrup, and a splash of cranberry juice to an ice-filled mixer glass. Shake vigorously and pour into your favorite highball glass. Top with ginger ale. Garnish with a sprig of thyme or orange slices.
Lightly muddle 8 mint leaves, 3/4 oz lime juice, and 3/4 sugar syrup in the bottom of a large highball glass. Add 1/2 oz gin and ice then stir vigorously with a long-handled spoon. Top with ginger ale and garnish with a fresh mint sprig

Add 1½ oz. Jim Beam White Label, 2 oz. cranberry juice, and ½ oz. fresh-squeezed lemon juice in a highball glass with ice. Top with ginger ale and garnish with cranberries.

Scotch & Ginger Highball
Combine ½ oz. Compass Box Whiskey Scotch and 1½ oz. Original Bruce Cost Ginger Ale in an ice-filled glass and garnish with a large mint spring and a lime wheel.
