Write your own fortunes on paper strips (or use the free fortune cookie message printable PDF at the bottom of this post), then attach them to the bottom edges of the circles using a glue dot. If you choose to bake your fortune cookies, you can dip them in melted chocolate or decorate them with sprinkles or other fun toppings!

Paper fortune cookie messages are perfect for New Year’s, birthday parties, Valentine’s Day & other holidays. Cut scrapbook paper into circles that measure 3 1/2″ in diameter. Turn the circles over and place a glue dot at the top edge or each one. Fold the circle in half, securing with the glue dot. Do not crease the fold.

Set your document margins to 2 inches to 3 inches in width and 1/2 inch in height to duplicate the average size of a fortune cookie message. Type your message into the available space using an 8-point or 10-point font. Adjust the font size to allow you to fit your entire message onto the space.
